Some helpful tips for Parents, Teachers, and Therapists!
Organize toys and materials into storage boxes around the house, office, or classroom
Put picture of contents of box on outside of the box for children to view what is inside
Use velcro attachment or tape on picture to box for child to view contents.
Limit amount of choices (boxes of toys) available so as not to overwhelm child so their attention will last longer per activity.
Use visual timer for children with short attention span, as this will help them stay with the activity longer.
